The Anglo-American Nazi War

Description

This one is based on the conclusion of a timeline over at alternatehistory.com, which can be read here [link]

To roughly outline events (read the TL for more detail) Nazi Germany wins WWII in Europe, and lasts a while (due to the atom bomb not being invented untill considerably later than in our world) but is later beaten by a US-British Empire alliance.

Germany goes down ugly (last stand of David Koresh ugly) and most of Europe is left a chemically and bio-weapons contaminated wreck. The US is left with a determination that such a regime will never be allowed to arise again, and follows a "nuke them from orbit" form of gunship diplomacy. (The UN in this world is for democracies only)

India, which was deliberately built up as another Arsenal of Democracy in the years between Nazi victory in Europe and Round II, took off economically much earlier than in our world and the total size of the economy is perhaps slightly larger than that of the US by 2011, although still considerably poorer on a per capita basis. They are annoyed about the US's "judge, jury, and executioner" attitude towards nations that get too far out of line, and also the US-Anglosphere monopoly on access to space (the US doesn't want anyone to develop an ICBM capable of hitting them).

Read the key carefully. The map may be a bit confusing otherwise: remember, green means UN, but so does solid violet. India is disagreement with the US, but we don't have an outright cold war. Well, except for the crazies in China...

Welp, can't say the Americans have a monopoly on A4 dickery if the Brits took the whole Northeastern French coastline, and didn't even give them back Alsace-Lorraine as a consolation prize (then again maybe Alsace-Lorraine isn't in a state that the French would enjoy having it. Still a primo dick move).
