Draka Vs Russia

Another "alternate cold war" map, this one with a somewhat de-wanked Draka vs Czarist Russia.

A century of butterflies meant that, although bloodied, the Russian Empire managed to pull through this world's equivalent of WWI without a revolution: it has moved since in a democratic direction, and is currently the leader of the anti-Draka block.

The Draka, lacking Magic Logistics and Magic Weapon-making tech, did not get as much of the Middle East as in canon, and later went to war with the UK for the rest of it out to India, relations between Russia and the UK having cooled to the point where it was assumed that the Russians (already worried about the Japanese and keeping the Germans Down) would not interfere. Alas for Draka planners, the Russians decided they really didn't want a thousand-mile border with the Draka, and the resultant long and bloody struggle, which the French eventually joined on the Anglo-Russian side,
which finally ended with a mutual exchange of crude nuclear weapons, an armistice, and Draka gains eastwards pretty much neutralized by losses westwards.

The Japanese, meanwhile, took advantage of the other powers distraction to expand its coastal protectorates deep into the territory of crumbling Taiping China.

The US does not lead the Good Guys, although once the era of ICBMS dawned the US joined them. In this alternate history, Draka support for the Confederate cause allowed them to win: since then the US has badly bloodied the Confederacy's nose, making them increasingly dependent on Draka support. Having to keep an eye on the nuclear-armed (those are very short flight times) Confederacy limits the US ability to play a very active role overseas. Also, the US is smaller, population only about 1/2 of the nowadays quite modern Russian Empire (although the US has something like 3/4 as large an economy).
